We are projected to have an early January freeze and the temperature here is not going to get out of the forties for at least the next couple of weeks. This from sunny Florida. Where in FL? My wife is constantly on the Eagle Watch cam site and both Harriet and M15 are panting due to the heat.

Lived in Coral Gables, across the street from the UofM in January 1977 when it snowed. We were able to have a short, furious snowball fight with the snow on the cars.
