The protestors have tied the bad economic times to Islamic rule. This is a problem for the Mullahs as they have no way to improve life in Iran. Their rules won’t permit that.
Iranians remember living good lives in reasonable freedom compared to today. They see the dead end of Islam and they want out.
I hope they can pull it off. They could end the threat of this Terrorist State with Nuclear weapons.

There are millions of people in India with roots in Persia, and most all are good hard working and intelligent people and many are successful business people including the Tata family..
Yeah, I thought about that. I’d like to know how that works myself. Life under the Shah looked much more Euro-like, the people wore western style clothing and jewelry and had the money to buy same, I remember that much.
Iranians are different from Arabs, that’s for sure. And now they’re bringing that difference into the light.

Every person I’ve met from Iran has made it clear in the course of conversation that they are not Arabs. They’re proud of their ancient heritage. That must drive the left bangers nutters.
Well Zorasterism is as Persian a Persian can be. The surviving believers maybe 50 - 100 thousand (probably too high!) left in Iran. Likewise number in India where they fled after the 6th century Islamic conquest - called Parsees in India. They prefer ( or so be told me!) Zorasterism to be called Auhra Mazdeism ( note probably spelled wrong!) or just Mazdeism. Famous Parsees Zubin Metha & Freddie Mercury.
Apparently the mullahs did not or have not spent any of the money that Obama had flown into Iran under the cover of darkness on improving the economic plight of their average citizens.
I encourage Iranians to work out their own freedom. this is a freedom that has been long awaited. 38 years ago they lost their freedom, and now they are fighting to bring it back. Radical Islam, something that was defending by the last administration, is never a solution. And Islam is not compatible with the modern world. It is demeaning, harsh and unhealthy.
