How about research in space as to the EM Drive concept? It works in the lab and numerous researchers have confirmed that it consistently generates a small thrust using electricity alone. If it works in space, it could revolutionize space travel and make even earth satellites simpler and cheaper.
While this really is totally amazing....I think that Trump will use this to capture the imagination and attention of kids in school....he will talk directly to them and begin to transfer loyalty by taking control of the conversation.
While exciting in and of itself, I do see it as a way to undermine the chokehold that the NEA has on the Public Education system.
