So, it appears there are a lot of folks here who sympathize with the Black Lives Matter crowd. Maybe we should wait for the evidence to unfold first, before we start blaming law enforcement.
Any warrant issued which lists the place, persons, and items to be searched for which is to be carried out between 11:00PM and 8:00AM must have the judge who signed the warrant at the scene.
Nothing good happens after midnight, and that goes for the police, persons, neighbors, pets, and ambulance crews.
It never ceases to amaze me why law enforcement is taught to terrorize people in the middle of the night like shock and awe is a precursor to a positive outcome?
Problem is, there's a lot of people who no longer give law enforcement the benefit of doubt. Cops should probably stop murdering people. Might go a long ways towards earning that trust back.
Pathetic straw man.
It’s a very odd world you live in.
The cop haters at Free Republic will disagree with something so reasonable.
As yet, we don't know the reason for the service of a night time search warrant. I will assume that the officer who wrote the warrant informed the judge that there were exigent circumstances for the request.
That being said, and while it might not be related, President Trump has declared a national emergency because of human trafficking and government corruption. This search warrant could have been related to those things, or something else like a violent cartel suspect. In any case, I think the officers did expect violence, and they were right.
