I found that I got better results across the board by preheating my electric oven for 20 minute and then baking at a far hotter temperature than they recommend (typically 325-400), I use 500 degrees.

From the freezer to the oven. The crust is crisp (I don’t put it right on the rack), the sauce is moist, and the cheese is melted, not burned.

Time to cook varies by maker.

I use 425, but I preheat the pizza pan as well as the oven. That way the crust starts cooking from the bottom right away, while the cheese is cooking from the top.

I’ve tried a few homemade pizza recipes, but have yet to find a good sauce. Most of them call for store-bought pizza sauce, I’d rather make one from scratch. The from-scratch recipes I’ve tried ranged from “blah” to awful.
