While you gentlemen are debating the gross overreach of the former President's nephew, in seeking to impose his family bias on the people of Texas, I would respectfully suggest that you may be focusing too much attention on the pathetic efforts of the Bush family to sound politically correct.

Yes, it is appropriate to briefly rebuke them; but the real emphasis on issues that involve heritage, should always be on the right of any rooted citizen of an ongoing society, community, tribe or nation, to honor the heritage of that ongoing, society, community, tribe or nation.

For starters, such is the obvious implication of the Fifth Commandment, as well as something required by simple common sense.

My real point is that we should not fail to make the point that is more important than the absurd bigotry of the PC poseurs. George P. Bush is not some sort of Plato, Aristotle, Washington, Jefferson, Franklin--or even a Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford. One sentence might be enough for his "contribution."

George P would be an insignificant ambitious airhead if he didn’t have the Bush political machine greasing the skids for him. But he does so we are forced to pay attention to him.

I agree with you on the Bushes. They are indeed pathetic.
