Washington: President Donald Trump begins 2018 making good on his aggressive "America First" trade agenda, with China as a primary target.

As he prepares to mingle this week with global leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, a traditional cheerleader of free trade, Trump has again ruffled feathers from Beijing to Berlin after imposing steep tariffs on imported washing machines and solar panels.

The left is trying to portray the tariffs on solar panels as being caused by having Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State.

This is how dumb they are.

Then, I saw a meme where a guy who installs solar panels is complaining that Trump is imposing tariffs on his products.

The FACT is that the Chinese have been dumping solar panels below cost into the US in order to drive US-made solar panels out of the market. Obama freely allowed this.

Now that Trump is trying to help American solar panel manufacturing, the left is trying to say this is bad.

Turn the tables on your leftist friends! Tell them the FACTS and that Trump is protecting American manufacturing jobs.....something Obama did not care about.

Chinese basically decimated European solar panel companies, too. Probably every solar panel business was hit worldwide except China.

The Europeans and Asians certainly do everything possible to protect their economies. Thank the Lord we now have a president who wants to protect American businesses. MAGA!

Hooray. Hate China, where they boil and cook dogs alive. Go Trump. Make them rely on Peru for trade.

We just bought a bunch of solar panels yesterday for a major home project we had been planning for months. To my surprise the prices had not changed!
