If congress in the past has authorized a border wall but there is no funding, why doesn't Trump just start a Go Fund Me campaign for the wall? Does anybody know if it would be legal. My bet is he would get all the money he needs in less than 30 days. And he would not need to negotiate on DACA. And if a Go Fund Me Campaign is legal or some other donation format is legal how can we get thie pitched to the Whitehouse?

Because that would be a massive win for the dems. They could happy dance all over that. It would be admitting defeat on so many levels.
Add to that the waste that takes place every day at the hands of our joke of a government and the thought of a Go Fund Me campaign is beyond laughable. It's disgusting.
And lastly...there is no way the USA should pay for it. Build it and deduct the cost from any monies paid to Mexico for any reason.

Go Fund Me has closed down Consevative issues before. Is there a conservative site that does the same thing?
It would be better to have a go fund me to campaign against anyone who doesn’t vote to fund the wall.
Because this is just one issue.
This page is a great start but unless it’s directed through Trump’s megaphone it goes nowhere.
For something like that there’d only be two possibly GFM:
a scam from somebody completely unrelated to the project, which would be getting donated to by suckers and plenty of fuel for dems
A legit page tied in some way to Trump’s plan which would be an admission that he can’t get the funding through Congress

Exactly. We taxpayers already fund countless programs that are not constitutionally mandated. FedGov needs to reallocate funding to first satisfy their mandates and responsibilities from pet pork projects they have no business funding in the first place.
