Plott Hounds are very bonded to and defensive of their people. Strangers can be another matter, but not their own pack. If those dogs mauled her to death they were something other than Plotts.
You’re right about Plott hounds. My dog is half Plott. The other half is lab and border collie. He is the sweetest thing alive to anybody he knows, but he needs an introduction for others.
