Actually I do know about it.
That’s why my smartphone has the battery removed except during the rare times I’m actually using it.

I don't care if it is to my advantage to be tracked. I have nothing to hide and it might even be helpful to me.
But I hate it because in the hands of unscrupulous people it can be misused. And we know that it will happen if it hasn't already.

I turned off the function that kept asking me to do surveys/ratings, etc., as my phone ‘recognized’ the establishments I was in/around. Zero input from me = wasted $ for those who buy the info.

One of the biggest reasons I do NOT have a cell phone & I refuse to have one.
I got raised with a crank telephone on the wall of the farm kitchen. I don’t need a ‘phone’ in my picket.
