I tell my children, college is not the place for debating professors. Go in get your grade and get out. If need be, tell them after the final grade what you think. In the mean time tell them what they want to hear.

Too bad there aren’t enough brave souls right now that can still see the obvious that will throw out these bums.

There will have an awakening, hopefully soon. Where it will be the awakened ones or the monsters they are creating, the professors and teachers will not like the rebellion that will certainly rise in retaliation against them. We have already seen some of their ‘creations’ rising against them.

I have a somewhat different view. Tell the professors what they want to hear until after graduation. Then when the alumni association calls, tell them GFY.
Looking back, I’m glad I studied engineering. But the crap was already infiltrating engineering studies (in my case being told to tolerate other students being stoned on weed while working with 480 volt 3 phase in a lab class. I saw some almost Darwin awards. )

That’s probably a good general policy. If you do want to fight them, your best bet is probably to do it through an organization, like the college Republicans, rather than lone wolfing it.

Yep. My son is brilliant. But I always told him to do what he had to do to get the highest grade. When you are finished with the class, then you can be honest with the teacher. But you are not going to change the teacher and the teacher is completely in charge of your grade. He wanted to get into his first choice college, so he held his personal beliefs to himself. And his believes are correct, as most intelligent people see them.

When you pay good money for a college degree, you expect something in return, like an honest education. Learning the wrong things & being a “yes man” is not acquiring an honest education. I guess the mistake Ingle made was in not picking the right school. He should demand his money back;no need to pay for something like that when bad advice can be found for free almost anywhere.
