In all of recorded history, a "female leader" of anything consequential is extremely difficult to find.

You forgot Cleopatra, a very ambitious clever woman who was a disastrous leader for her people and herself.

In the end she committed suicide, her children were executed and her body was paraded through the streets of Rome.

No, I didn't forget about Cleopatra at all. She was no "leader" in any way at all.

She was a highly intelligent, well educated, beguiling, cunning woman; however, what did she accomplish, when all is said and done, FOR her country? NOT ONLY NOTHING, BUT GOT THEM INTO A WAR WITH ROME !
