I agree with you. I've been a female boss and I wasn't good at it, lol.

I'm happy to have my male boss give me a job to do. But, a female boss . . . I want to know why she thinks she's my mother.

I suspect that is a lot of the issue for both men and women—being reminded of reporting to their mother.
