Do you think Trump will magically route _all_ the evil doers forever? I’m a realist. He will expose them, perhaps, some of them...or even possibly most of them. He’ll put crimps in their style. He might even manage to rouse the complacent masses for a while until the next shiny object appears. But they are not going away, as in vanish. They will go to ground and figure another way to get what they want. And they will be all the more dangerous for having been wounded.
That is not morale-busting propaganda, ala Tokyo Rose. That is reality on planet Earth populated with fallen human beings.
So, to answer your question: No, I don’t think so and that was nowhere near my intentions.
I’ve known lower-level billionaires. One object d’art from their myriad possessions could allow anyone to live a very nice lifestyle for many years. When we see these reports of *net worth* of the elite, we see a carefully curated financial profile. These people are worth many, many more times what the media reports. That includes Trump, FWIW, and he knows this, too. They’ve been zinged, not killed. They will survive to rise again and we must expect that or be blindsided when it happens.
Now: when I see average people in the tens of millions abandoning Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram and turning in their smartphones for flip phones that only text and do phone calls; when I no longer see real investigative reporting characterized as ‘conspiracy theory’; when we can go for an entire year with no smears of Trump or bannings of conservative thought.....then I might actually get up, dance and sing Hallelujah.
