I’m with you. I have friends who let Alex*a into thier house because it did cute things like a trained dog. Turns on the living room light which is a short walk away. Sets a timer for your cookie baking. Ooo! I don’t trust the damn thing. I asked it once, “Do you sleep?” It replied, “Not really...”. Uh huh. Exactly what I thought. It’s listening 24/7. Gives me the creeps.
Even Facebook creeped me out at first and I had to be dragged to use it. I hate Siri. And Alexa etc,? No thanks. Ring at the doorbell is s far as I’m going.
