Are they stupid or just tired of surveys? Or both?
One of my guys would argue that it is not "round".

I agree with them. I “feel” that it is an ever so slightly oblate spheroid. Just my own humble “feeling”.

Millennials obviously dont take polls seriouslyThey shouldn't. Much less should they believe the headlines. As the article says: "nine percent of young adults answered that they have always believed the planet was flat."
Of those 9% what fraction answered this way as a joke. Given that 1 in 10 are sociopaths anyway, a large fraction of those must be a joke.
Then there are those who figure any question like this is a trick question and that the "obvious answer" is wrong. Actually it is wrong. The earth is not round as in a sphere, but slightly flattened on the poles and bulging out at the equator.
Then there are the incredibly ignorant and if it is 4 or 5% well, that's life and you don't fix that in America or England. Socialists might get a "better" result only because socialists never question what their socialist government tells them.

Remember that half the people you meet are less than average intelligence.
This is just proof of that fact.

What is it about these Tide Pods? I see that all over the place but nobody gives the meaning of it.

Maybe there is hope after all.
Being told thruout their entire edukation that the erf is experiencing glowBull climate change when it isn’t, at least subconsciously they know this is crap. Why shouldn’t that crap extend to the shape of the erf?

These kids eat Tide Pods and snort condoms so it comes as no shock to me that they believe the earth is flat.

Yup, and they all think it’s “turtles all the way down”.
Perfect fodder for Facebook.

Remember when college kids used to eat GOLDFISH on a dare ? Or see how many people they could stuff in a VW ?
Well... now the popular dare is to eat TIDE PODS, which are a mix of detergents formed into small gel-like balls which can easily be thrown into the washing machine.
