Agreed, with their volume lower than the engine noise, I couldn't understand the announcers on the first race; and for both of the first two races, the non-stop commercials (isn't espn "pay" t.v.?) took over the race.

Today, no commercials, and I can hear the announcers (who are pretty good, but not as good as Lee, Steve, and David).

And, as one who roots for Ricciardo, and outstanding Q and memorable race day!

The commercials must be a regional thing.

There were three commercials in the first race, one in the second and zero yesterday.

I play the race through my theater sound system and mute the commercials - it takes a bit of effort as I do not have a direct remote control but rather I have to wake up the iPad then it’s a few moments before the Dennon app connects — as such I remember commercials vividly.

It was a great race - even my Wife was excited!
