Family in a suburb of Seattle.
Hate to see what has happened to it. But they (my family) are supporting the very policies that have led to the decline.
Last year I had an employee from Seattle that worked in law enforcement and later for a public utility. He said he made around $80K a year and paid in house payment and property taxes roughly $35K a year. He said the cost of living is insane there especially compared to southeast Kentucky.
He was a good guy but because of family issues had to move back to Seattle. He hated the expenses but loved the weather. The humidity of Kentucky about killed him.
