One of the most leftist sewers in the nation. Damn shame. Such an uncannily beautiful part of the country. I worked on a project there in the 90s and although it was beginning to turn lefty it wasn't all that bad. I enjoyed my time there.
I wish I knew why leftists turn great locations into sewers.

"One of the most leftist sewers in the nation." From what I've heard and read,
it's literally turning into an open sewer.

One of the most leftist sewers in the nation.Amazon was scheduled to construct one of their new headquarters there but now has put it on hold. The reason is that the city council has decided to put a "head tax" on company employees. The tax would be 26 cents per employee-hour and would fund free housing for the homeless.

Just read the comments to the Seattle Times story. The Lefty Rats have no clue to the Venezuelan system they have bought into. The smart ones are fleeing the sinking ship for their children's sake.
