One of my sons has suggested Seattle as a moving destination. They might get an NHL team (we wont move where there isnt one). I told him, frying pan into the fire from L.A.
Yaelle — How do you feel about the desert? The Arizona Coyotes are based in Glendale, a suburb (more or less) of Phoenix.
You’ll have to have zero common sense to move to Seattle.
Don’t do it.
I’m looking for exits. It is a godless mess, unless you consider Moloch a god of sorts.
Hi Yaelle, please add my voice to the chorus of those advising against moving to Seattle. While I don’t live in Seattle proper that’s at the heart of the issue - what they do taints everything around them.
The singular recommendation is for medical care - they have some of the finest care facilities in the world (Fred Hutchinson Cancer center for example). The downside(s) is obvious - significant amounts of crime, high cost of living, a cold & wet climate, and (maybe most of all) the resident SeattLunatics suck!
Raleigh, Nashville, Tampa, Dallas and Phoenix are the only sane places that have an NHL team and I’m beginning to wonder about Raleigh and Nashville.
Consider purchasing some sort of TV and streaming source. Then you cam watch them all from better vantage points than those in the stands. You could save many hours sitting in parking lots and gobs on money.
