The United Nations says an additional round of global climate talks is being scheduled for September ahead of the annual ministerial summit at the end of the year. [ ]
At issue are the precise rules countries have to stick to in fulfilling the 2015 Paris climate accord, as well as questions of funding for poor nations and how to close the gap between what governments have pledged to do and whats needed to meet the goal of keeping global warming below 2 degrees Celsius.

Fed up with the BS, prominent climate change skeptic professor retires
The reward system that is in place for university faculty members is becoming increasingly counterproductive to actually educating students to be able to think and cope in the real world, and in expanding the frontiers of knowledge in a meaningful way (at least in certain fields that are publicly relevant such as climate change).
Curry continues:
A deciding factor was that I no longer know what to say to students and postdocs regarding how to navigate the CRAZINESS in the field of climate science. Research and other professional activities are professionally rewarded only if they are channeled in certain directions approved by a politicized academic establishment funding, ease of getting your papers published, getting hired in prestigious positions, appointments to prestigious committees and boards, professional recognition, etc.
How young scientists are to navigate all this is beyond me, and it often becomes a battle of scientific integrity versus career suicide (I have worked through these issues with a number of skeptical young scientists).
She rounds out the piece by joking (sort of): So my fall from the ivory tower that started in 2005 is now complete.

Won’t that seriously increase their carbon footprint?
Ping.
And no doubt the goal is global socialism where the rich countries like the US donate billions to the poor countries all on the back of the middle class American taxpayer. And, BTW if you have enough clout with the global warming overlords, you get a waiver from the agreements (like China) and avoid destroying your economy.
Bottom line: Americans will suffer. I wonder how many Americans realize this?
UN to hold additional climate meeting ahead of Poland summit = WE NEED MORE MONEY NOW
Fed up with the BS, prominent climate change skeptic professor retires
That sucks we need these guys.
I hope she keeps fighting for and exposing the truth outside of academia.
When are the UN Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot summits?
Have fun! They’re not getting any more of our money.
Until governments are willing to stop hydrocarbon B.S. agenda and actually look at the complex causes of climate change they should just shut up. Complex you say. Yes! Population expansion, resulting in more construction resulting in multiple new heat sources. (Roads, parking lots, building gloves, etc) Also urban flood control, resulting in less humidity, leading to less rain. (Drought) This is just what is visible in a glance.

Lol- ‘have to stick ot’? What if they odn’t? Who’s going to enforce it?
Me too.
It’s all about how much money they can take from us, to enrich themselves. The un is a truly evil organization.
