Homosexuals have 6 times more syphilis infections? OMG! Probably 6 times total STDs. I guess the Gaystapo have taken control of the group that is looking into antibiotic resistance. Since they’ve figured out how to stop transmission of HIV, homosexuals figured they could have all the sex they desired. My guess is that HIV is going to turn out more problematic than homosexuals thought.
Another thought: why is just women listed? Why not WSM?

No. The multiple is much higher than six. The graph does not compare equal size MSM and MSW populations. It compares the number of syphilis cases in the entire national MSW population with the number of syphilis cases in the entire, but very much smaller, national MSM population.

Good points. The graph doesn’t show the proportional rates of infection in the MSM group.

Similarly, HIV/AIDS graphs are not understood. Homosexual men are actually 20 times more likely to be infected than the average person.
