I actually find a lot of good books at dollar tree.
What share of that dollar does Pat earn?
I occasionally stop by Dollar Tree.
Most of their items are worth a dollar or even less but there are bargains to be had. I have purchased their dollar reading glasses then seen the exact same brand with the same tag selling for $12 at a discount store.
Also found a no brand scientific calculator for a buck then saw the exact same one except with a brand name on it for $9.99. Even at $9.99 it was a pretty nice calculator.
I would pay that for Buchannan’s book. He pulls no punches whether you agree with him or not.
The boss drags me to the Dollar Tree on occasion, I too get their reading glasses & several other items. Decent 32 oz laundry detergent for a buck believe it or not. I’ll grab Pat’s book if I see it there.
I used to have a lot of respect for Pat Buchanan. Then he wrote “Churchill, Hitler, and The Unnecessary War”. In that book Buchanan argued that Churchill - and not Hitler - was responsible for WW II.
If only Churchill had been more accommodating. If only Churchill had been more understanding of Germany’s legitimate concerns. If only Churchill had given Poland to Germany. Then there would have been no WW II. And there would have been no Holocaust.
Nope, I’m not buying any of that. In fact, to hell with that.

actually sad to see his book for sale at a dollar store. there are only a few politicians I respect he is one.

One of the best books on Nixon is “The Real Watergate Scandal: Collusion, Conspiracy, and the Plot That Brought Nixon Down.” I costs more than $1 though.
I often find good books at Dollar General for $3.
