The last one recently killed a pedestrian and the,Driverless smart car never braked prior to impacts.I read about that in the Wall Street Journal a few days ago. The article said the auto-braking was turned off, while the "safety monitor," a transgender ex-inmate with a history of serious traffic violations, wasn't looking.
