I can’t believe the writers and producers decided to let John Dorie get shot in the chest.

Either he is going to die, or he’s going to be a semi-helpless invalid for many episodes into the future.

In any event, it’s a complete waste of an interesting, entertaining, and highly competent character!

Tried to get interested in FTWD but the characters are archetypal dysfunctional liberal family. The parents are insufferable, the children are either dopeheads or arrogant to the point of stupidity. Then they are like the are DI from Parris Island.

The only two characters I like’d was the yacht owner and the Ruben Blades character. The writers made one a homo and then killed off the other.
Then they betrayed the rancher because he had a feud with the SJW Indians in which the rancher “rightly” killed his uncle for attacking his livestock.

Morgan and the new group are interesting but they are not enough to save the show from the repeated “Governor’ clones and random marauders.

Just don’t caew anymore....

I thought the season ended a couple of weeks ago.

How many episodes will there be?

I think there’s one more episode next week (June 10th), then they go on mid-season hiatus.

If anyone cares what I think:

They really are stretching with Fear. John Dorie and Laura parked a Jeep in front of the opening on the bridge. Zombies are stupid and mindless creatures, so they would not have cared about said Jeep. Yet, dozens of them attacked the Jeep and made themselves fall through the opening on the bridge. They get washed downstream and attack John and Laura. So he kills them, but I can’t get past what the hell made the zombies attack an inanimate jeep. Bad writing.

Then the daughter shoots the guy with a very scary looking gun. She hits him in a way that he should not be able to survive. I don’t see how he can. Bad writing.

Nick kills the guy in the el Camino, which turns out to be the brother of the guy in the el Camino. It was three episodes before I learned that the guy Nick killed was not the guy I thought he killed. Then the little girl shoots Nick, and he dies. He was a druggie that learned how to smear zombie guts on himself and walk around with them. Later, he is too scared to go outside. It was time to kill him.

And they have numerous gay characters. I am not against gay people or people being gay. I have friends who are gay, and I treat them as I would anyone. Sometimes its hard to know how to phrase stuff, but I try to be sensitive. I just don’t understand why Walking Dead has to have so many gay relationships. At least 3 in Walking Dead, and that Strand guy in Fear. Really distracting. That is no way to repopulate the earth. I guess if the world has ended, you might as well be gay.

I don’t know why I keep watching, but I do have to thank them for me cancelling my cable service. One Sunday, we turned on the TV to watch the Walking Dead. It was on the same channel as it was the last time we watched anything, which was the previous Sunday, the Walking Dead. I figured, if we are only watching one show on cable, that was way expensive.

This season has been disappointing. The whole resequencing thing (al a Pulp Fiction) has been just awful.

Yep. The new characters are better than most of the old characters.

I don’t blame the actors.
The writing for the most part has been terrible.
Actors just perform the lines that are written for them.

Too many times the writers seem determined to showcase one bad life choice after another. You can see the disasters coming a mile away and, yet, the characters act like they are trying to commit suicide.

Tonights episode was so lame. When they parked the SUV outside the stadium they had all the time in the world to get inside the gated stadium but they jerked around until they were surrounded by the walkers. That had to be the laziest writing in the world. Very unbelievable. Even the actors acting was piss poor like they knew it was lame but did it anyway but robotically.

And what happened to Madison? Is she dead or what? Why didn’t the sister shoot the killer of her brother (the little monster girl)? That should have been automatic. That is one evil child. I get that they can’t do that on a family oriented show but something should have happened like her being left on her own to die or something. Morgan is such a weenie sometimes.

These two walking dead shows move too slow these days. It’s like they are trying to milk them because they have run out of ideas coupled with bad writing. I guess the comic book author is just as lame.

Yeah, I gotta agree with that.

It seems in both the FTWD and TWD, "Our Heroes" are always running into small groups that have somehow organized into a functioning society... until 'our Heroes" show up and destroy that group. Rinse and Repeat.

Makes one wonder WHO the "real evil" group is"

Hershel was right. "You people are a plague"
