Hey, it’s Fair Parkat night. We were leaving the Music Hall at Fair Park after a show, on MLK waiting to get on the freeway. Line of stopped traffic. Suddenly gunfire opened up not 100’ from us. Cops responding? What cops?
Got it on your second guess. Fair Park is code for Black, East Dallas is code for Mexican (Old East Dallas is generally white).
Without a description of the original shooter, however, one can’t tell if this was Crips vs. Bloods, or whether it was Mexican against Black gang violence.
This gang crap is everywhere. Here’s the bottom line. The police can’t stop this. No politician can stop it. The people in those neighborhoods have to take a stand and stop it. They need to own it and police their own neighborhoods up to a point. Others can help but it takes heavy peer pressure from everyone in the hood to stop it.
I’m sad to say this is a cultural thing that outsiders have no control over. That’s why they have to do it themselves.
All groups have bad eggs; even the police. That’s why the police police their own. Biker gangs do the same thing. They get a cocky a-hole who’s making trouble for their group; they take care of it internally. In fact these street gangs need to police their own too. It’s the only thing that will stop it. Put the word out; no more or pay the ultimate price. It’s pretty much the only thing they understand. Prison doesn’t scare them at all. They get to go hang out with their homeys.

Just in time for “Gun Violence Prevention Day!” I knew the Left was going to have to run another false-flag mass murder event. They are getting desperate.
The 1971 Oil Bowl in Wichita Falls that did feature the best players of Texas versus those from Oklahoma had a killing in the North end zone bleachers during the game. I was sitting a few rows back when one black man pulled out his pistol and fired the revolver into another black man until it was empty. People started running in all directions in a panic. I’d seen people get shot before but never like that.
