You nailed it. Also, they do not have a moslem immigration problem.
To: V_TWIN
Great idea, move them to Chicago, the laws of Chicago show us how gun laws are so beneficial to stop violence.
To: Simon Green
Let’s add our immigration and racial problems to Japan and just see how “safe” Japan is “without guns”
Oh and put Japan on a landed border with say, N Korea

I am not willing to trade an additional 6,800 rapes, assaults, home invasions, kidnappings that are daily prevented through the defensive use of a gun ... in order to prevent 93 deaths (62 of which are suicides) per day.

Yeah, ‘cause men never express these kind of dumb opinions. Try reading the Guardian comments and educate yourself.

or Pier 39 in SF or anywhere in SE DC. You will be fine.
To: Simon Green
Stay in Japan. We will survive without your return. That’s a promise.

in footage taken after the tsunami in Fukushima. You actually see people politely lined up to receive rations and not the usual mob that we see in this country and in other countries. The Japanese are very polite, painfully so. And they respect each other because they are all brothers and sisters as being Japanese. However in the past there have been times when Japanese went to war and they are also great warriors without regards to their enemy except to overwhelm and destroy the enemy as completely as they possibly can. I respect the Japanese because they respect certain values however I don’t know if I could comfortably live with them or among them. I have spent a total of 18 months in Japan off and on and it’s a wonderful place to visit, but I do not know if I would be welcomed nor do I know if I would feel that comfortable in a semi-permanent situation in their country.

It's a homogeneous society with a great shame factor. Unlike America which is multi-ethnic and now riven with racial and gender tensions (thanks to Dems).
To: marron
Shes been living with Japanese, who are basically law abiding people. If they have or dont have guns, she is in no danger among them. The problem isnt guns. Its people who arent capable of governing themselves. And in the US, they are scattered about everywhere, we dont have a homogeneous culture.
No, they aren't scattered everywhere. The people who can't govern themselves are concentrated in the urban areas of Anerica's large cities.

Stay were you are and don’t come back. We don’t want you.

I spent a total of 4 years on Japan, 3 of it raising my young daughter. I did like the feeling of being able to go anywhere without a worry. I DID not bring my silly slightly paranoid American attitude with me, unlike this ditz.
One thing about Japan that is different form America is that it FULL of Japanese.

After two years enjoying the safety and serenity of Japan, we are now on the cusp of a move back to America. At a time when we should be looking forward to reconnecting with family and friends and introducing our new daughter to her country, instead, Im dreading returning to a place where seven kids are shot and killed every day. Then don't come back. We've got too many of your ilk here already.
