(In Japan) I wasnt scanning every grocery store for its nearest exits as I shopped with my toddler son and newborn daughter, or standing on the fringes of a crowd at concerts, or wearing sneakers to the local playground solely so I could more easily grab my children and run for all of our lives if I had to. We were fully enjoying life again, and it wasnt until the weight was gone that I realized Id been nearly crushed beneath it.
After two years enjoying the safety and serenity of Japan, we are now on the cusp of a move back to America. At a time when we should be looking forward to reconnecting with family and friends and introducing our new daughter to her country, instead, Im dreading returning to a place where seven kids are shot and killed every day. It’s the culture of the young progressives. To kill and to destroy.
Move to Chicago ma’am. tightest gun laws in the U.S. You should be fine.
Good. Stay there, snowflake. It’s not like we’re going to miss you.
Just stay where you are then.....
silly fallopians
Most areas of America are very safe. It’s just the “diverse” areas that are dangerous.
But what about Godzilla? She would actually want to stay in a country where Godzilla could rise from the sea at any moment? Crazy bat!
Go to Manhattan, handguns are almost impossible to register so there should be no gun crime.
Dreading moving back to a country where 7 kids are shot every day?
Is she going to drive a car? Is she worried about moving back to a country where 100 people are killed in car accidents everyday?
Did she want to wear high heels at the playground?
Crapaganda!
So move to El Salvador, lady.
If you are not a minority drug dealer in the inner city of a handful of big cities, America has a murder rate equal to Western European countries. The murder rate of lawful gun owners in America is equivalent to Japans.
If you still have unreasonable fears based on skewed reporting by the MSM, then I suggest you stay in Japan.
She’s been living with Japanese, who are basically law abiding people. If they have or don’t have guns, she is in no danger among them.
The problem isn’t guns. Its people who aren’t capable of governing themselves. And in the US, they are scattered about everywhere, we don’t have a homogeneous culture.
Good stay where you are, we don’t need any more chicken s..ts here.
If she moves to almost any small town in America the odds are greater of being mauled by a bear (north :-)) or alligator (south :-) than being the victim of gun violence.
