Took three years to fully recover and start being active again.
Combined with two artificial knee replacements at age 62, a bad arthritic shoulder that makes it impossible to raise my arm above my shoulder, plantar fasciitis on both feet with special orthotics to correct, lingering, chronic bronchitis from my heart surgery, making it hard to breathe sometimes, and taking a multitude of meds for my heart, I am enjoying my "vitality" while I can.
Did I mention I am retired and work on my cattle farm daily doing more physical work that I did during my younger years?
Well, anyway, I am glad to be alive, having survived my medical issues too. I actually stopped breathing and my heart arrested two days after my heart surgery. They had to cut me open again and hand-massage my heart back to beating on its own again. Lucky guy I told myself. A real miracle the doc said.

As a new 2Lt I walked into my new missile Wing. SAC regulations made the Wing Commanders visit all of their missile Launch Control Facilities at least once per Quarter and I was out pulling Alert when he and his E-7 admin troop, female, came downstairs for the visit. The Wing CC walks over to our "secret" porn drawer, takes out a magazine, and starts to look at it with his admin troop. They would make comments about the photos. I told my Crew Commander that something was definitely up with those two but he just said they were probably just open about things.
Three days later we were pulling Alert at another site and the Wing King and the Admin came out to visit that site and did the same thing. My Crew Commander finally broke down and admitted something was fishy. Less than a month later a two star General from SAC HQ showed up on base. Instead of flying directly to the base in a SAC aircraft he took a civilian flight to the local airport and entered base in a rental car, telling the gate guards to shut up about his presence or be discharged.
The General woke up the Base Personnel Office Commander and had all the paperwork typed up then the next morning he walked into the Wing CC's office and fired him on the spot. The moving trucks showed up at the Wing CC's base quarters that morning and he was off base and out of the Air Force before midnight.
We found out that the Wing CC had knocked up the admin troop. The admin troop was married and told her husband, who was stationed in Hawaii and had not seen his wife in ten months. The husband made a complaint to his chain of command and the ball rolled downhill from there. It was also found that our Wing CC had given that female admin troop two STEP promotions so the AF didn't fire her but removed those two stripes, thus making her an E-5. They then shipped her off to Hawaii to her husband and we never found out what happened with that marriage.

Why risk yur job, men? For a woman who giving it up to you and others? She wont be the one fired. At anytime she can frame you for a big company payout and you are facing false charges and jail.
Women are not worth it. Dont be stupid and do something like this.
