Great news in central Texas, we had scattered showers off and on yesterday and an inch of rain today! 2 rain barrels are full but I’d knocked the other 2 off kilter at some point and they’re only about half full. I amended that situation before dark and it sure feels like we may get another shower tonight. I’m still getting a few tomatoes and lots of squash and peppers. My lemon tree still looks sickly but its put out some new growth. I still think our oddball windy summer is the culprit there. Peaches, figs and pomegranates are close to being ripe so I’ll be eating happy and processing those soon.

God bless you all. Greeneyes it is wonderful hearing how well all your new things are coming along. May God continue to keep everything going smoothly and on time.

Do you know the variety of pomegranates you grow? I’m thinking of trying one in a large container to bring in if we have an early frost/freeze some years.

Ditto your lemon tree. I’ve got a Meyer lemon but we are considering a Eureka or Ponderosa.

Bet you are glad you got the rain. We had a quick shower last night too. Blessings to you too.
