First Lady Melania Trump arrived in windy Melsbroek, Belgium, alongside President Trump for their week-long international trip, wearing a classic trench coat and black stilettos.
Mrs. Trump channeled Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys as she stepped off Air Force One in a Burberry trench coat and slick black Christian Louboutin pumps.

In that pic she reminds me of Sophia Loren.
THE PARTY is a POS movie; unfunny, and one of Edward's and Seller's BIGGEST bombs!
Re trench coats...it was the LITTLE BLACK DRESS, not a trench coat that BAT set a trend for. And the headscarf too, but that already WAS a "TREND", prior to that movie.
It was actually the James Bond movies that spurred an interest in BURBERRY TRENCH COATS and then, for men; not women!
I've watched BAT after 10:00PM and NEVER fallen asleep to it. But hey...if it puts you to sleep and watch it...it's better than you taking a sleeping pill.
Melania seems the very soul of respectful, friendly, cordial and caring behavior. She obviously wants to make people feel at ease and liked.
As well as having a wicked sense of humor (pink pussy bow outfit, for example).
You not only replied with one take off of a GERMAN, HITLERIAN ERA PROPAGANDA DOCUMENTARY, and yet another takeoff of a GERMAN, 1920, SILENT, EXPRESSIONISM, HORROR MOVIE ( which happens to be one of my all time favorite films ), and the final one, perhaps in your demented/delusional pea sized brain, a supposed coup de gras...re-imagining and torturing a very funny, clever, excellent film, as an unfunny, unclever, puerile attack.
What a pitiful reply; however, since that's all that you are able to supply, I'll take it from whence it camed and continue to laugh AT you. It appears that you are incapable of having a civil, thoughtful discussion, have a gigantic chip on your shoulder, and/or have an abject lack of any reading comprehension and logic skills.
You can’t seem to get anything right about movies. Casablanca is a GREAT movie although where you get the idea it is a noir is beyond me. Maybe because it is black and white?? Gilda is a film noir so half a point to you. Casablanca has a wonderful script with tremendous wit, great performances, beautiful photography and the kind of patriotism unknown in America today, much less Europe. My husband teaches this film to students and they are about as bright as you.
No Pardons is right that The Party was a bomb although I think it has some wonderful gags. I don’t like everything that Blake Edwards does but up until the late 80s when all types of censorship were gone with the wind, he was a brilliant gag man. That talent derived from his early love of Laurel & Hardy and Harold Lloyd.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a charming, adorable film that shows Manhattan at its beautiful best. I think the party scene is one of the funniest scenes in all of 60s movies.
And what a dumb remark about watching it after 10pm on a worknight.
“I know she speaks 5 languages”
And, IIRC, German is one of them. When she was conversing for quite a while with Angela Merkel, I expect it was in German.
She is such an asset to PDJT in so many ways. Perfect for her position as FLOTUS.
Those creatures coming down the stairs look like the line at the local soup kitchen.
“I dont care if Mrs. Macron is an older woman - she looks fine to me.”
I think she’s a cutie; I like her attitude. I know she has issues in her past, but don’t most of us?
“We ALL have an, ‘Inner Audrey!’”
Funny story. For a few years I was Wedding Coordinator at a five-star resort in Hawaii. Because of logistics, 95% of weddings were planned via phone, with wedding party showing up a day or two before the wedding.
One high-maintenance (they all were) bride/chick had her demands (they all did). She wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn, and had a specific “nosegay” in mind to complete the look. (Did AH have a nosegay in a movie? I don’t know.)
Anyhow, she showed up, blonde and fat. After the wedding she was unhappy with us because she “didn’t look like Audrey Hepburn”. Oy!
Jennifer O’Neill has a similar look. She’s gorgeous. Loved her in “Summer Of ‘42”.
Yes. The French were very nice to the Trumps. The Brits? Horrible, as usual. Jealous things, they are.
That’s a funny story, MM. Maybe if she wore a Five & Dime face mask instead of a nosegay, she would have gotten away with the Audrey comparison.
Ah, Yes. The old, ‘Expectation v. Reality’ that rears its ugly head whenever you are dealing with The General Public, LOL!
I didn’t call you pea-brained. I may have thought it...
I just wrote to you that my husband is a film teacher in NYC - so much for me being single. No pardons is married as well. And neither of us own cats, just to forestall your next voyage into being wrong.
Gotcha! Just pointing out opinions differ about movies. No reason to call people stupid, etc. Best to all. Golux
Are you drinking, perchance?
