Yes the place has terrible traffic issues in the summer .
I would avoided the place in high season.

Is this a traffic jam in Yosemite? Probably..I saw video of Yosemite a couple months ago, and it was jammed with people, so much so it appeared as a Knotts Berry Farm amusement park with props, every venue, like waterfalls, view points, walking paths and all these loud obnoxious tourist jammed together jabbering and gawking. It just didn't seem right.
