She’s nothing new for the NYT, it’s just that due to Twitter she has an easily-accessible (for now) public record of racism. I highly doubt that anyone on the editorial board there finds anything she had to say objectionable, despite their noisy protestation to the contrary.
But there is the credibility issue. Liberals are pompous and keeping her would hurt their message of peace, love, and tolerance. They look like hypocrites.
