I stayed at this resort. Woke up to several small ones in the pond off my deck every morning. They were small ones, 2-4 footers

As a youngster I remember playing golf on Hilton Head.
I hit a duck hook right into an alligator.
The gator gave me a seriously dirty look—guess they don’t like golf. :-)
