What posses these companies to “fix” something that was working perfectly fine? I would like to get just one hour in their corporate offices to scream at them.
What you may ask?
their need to install the latest intrusive surveillance gizmo on your system to more readily spy on your profile for other purposes... some economic, some profiling and some for future exploits against the consumers.
that is what possesses them.
“What posses these companies to fix something that was working perfectly fine?”
Good question. It’s the reason I hold on to my CDs of MS Office 2003 like grim death, and just bought a Windows 7 computer.
I think that one reason is to keep people employed. They have to come up with changes, even if the changes are terrible. And then there’s the spying, and they’re always finding new ways to do that.
