A song about white girls going out with black guys.

Steppin’ Out is one of my favorite songs, just a terrific rhythm to it.

The production and/or mastering on that song is atrocious and for some reason they’ve never cleaned it up in subsequent releases.

Very thin and faint sounding - it’s odd because the rest of the album sounds much better.

Steppin’ Out is one of my favorite songs, just a terrific rhythm to it.

It came out in 1982; that's the year my wife turned 18.

She grew up in China, and was an "America groupie," you might say. As a child, she was obsessed by America.

She told me once that to her, the early '80s seemed like there was a gigantic party going on in America.

She came here in June 1989, two weeks after the Tienanmen Square massacre.

Don’t think so. Gorillas means jocks I think.

Joe is the gay, sensitive type.

What was the easy way to save a youtube video to your pc? I remember you add “yy” or something in the link. Anyone know? Thanks

No, I don't think that works.

You can do it using an app called youtube-dl. It's a little tricky to use, but it does work; I've downloaded many youtube videos with it.

I think if you pay YT $10 a month or something like that you can get their "premium" service; you can download videos directly if you have that.

I have always loved this song.

It certainly captured the feel of the early '80s, as the economy began to really pick up steam and the Baby Boomers threw off the Carter Malaise.
