In a location several miles deep, with no currents, in non-degradable containers, maybe. At a subduction zone, where it gets recycled into the underlying magma over millions of years.

As the radioactive material sank into the Earth’s mantle the radioactive decay would generate heat and help keep the Earth’s core molten and preserve the magnetic field and protect the atmosphere from being stripped away by the solar wind.
