Second hand smoke!
Looking at the regs on that one is like sticking an endoscope down Alice’s favorite rabbit hole.
A nutball attorney(fake engineer) wormed into ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers)and browbeat the committee into massive air change numbers to allow smoking.
Therefore smoking very seldom is allowed indoors, the building costs are huge.
Most of the biggies are false:
- Cholesterol is bad for you (your body needs or makes 1.0-1.5 grams a day if your food doesnt provide it)
- Saturated fat is bad (most other countries have removed this from their diet guidance due to newer findings)
- Sodium is bad for you (death rate curve shows mortality is higher below 3,000 mg and above 5,000 mg a day)
How can health studies that WE ALL HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED TO FOLLOW FOR LIFE all be completely wrong? Because of laziness or ill-intent.
So my follow up question is this: How can so many later studies prove the same wrong?
It is these new studies that I most question.
You cant separate the author from the work, because the author always has an unhealthy ownership issue lurking in the background, which stems from being human. That is why transparency is so vital to everyone else EXCEPT the author.
