Same price, same brand, but this one at least has velvet.

. I love how they come already dirty. What a job, distressing shoes. What do you do, walk through the dog park a few times??

The economy must really be roaring, people are wasting more money than ever.

And dang, I threw away some very worn out old Converse All Stars just the other day.

Extra stinky too. Dang it.

They should go perfectly with the jeans they sell that are already tattered and torn for the buyer’s convenience.

I can’t believe how many people are paying hundreds of dollars for the privilege of dressing like a bum.

People will buy anything. I was
Christmas shopping at a mall and
noticed a long line of people
waiting for their turn at a small
bench and table set up. The guy
behind the table was selling a
baggie filled with clear water,
and a label stuck to the top
with instructions on how to care
for your invisible goldfish. $2.00
each.

Where are they made?

After all, somebody is doing the distressing.

Hey, I love my distressed cutoffs! True fact: I bought my first pair at $150 and then I bought a pair of jeans for $35 and cut the legs off and distressed them myself, and I wore both all summer and no one could tell the difference.

____________

I think a bum would be insulted to be given a pair of shoes that looked like that.

I watched an episode of How It’s Made.

Somewhere in Asia, people get paid a pittance to run a literal belt sander over them.

Very precise, nearly identical patterns, too.

If they can make me drunk a basketball in an NBA game and/or run a sub 4 minute mile (and win against Bolt) I might be it...
