Nevertheless, about the only thing Trump can do tonight to half way redeem himself for this voter, is to rip into Manchin and Flake... so hard, it hurts. As it is, I think Trump’s voters are hurting with disappointment this past week.
I am disappointed in Trump for the first time... he is not backing his nominee, Judge Kavanaugh, enough and the docs are not released to the public yet.. and he gave in to the delay without a word against, that I heard.. he just cooperated and I don’t want ‘cooperation’ after all the wimps capitulated!
What did Grassley think he was doing for the dems? All they want is to destroy the Judge... and impeach the President.. give them extra time to do just that! What did he think he was doing .. ?!
Sadly...it turns out that Republican, Senator, Chuck Grassley in nothing but another weak sister Republican minus a spine and back bone. I was watching the proceeding yesterday and when 1;30 PM rolled around, Senator Grassley sat there motionless like a deer in the headlights.
Instead he should have called the Judiciary Committee to order and called for the vote right then and there, at 1:30 PM sharp. He never should have let Flack speak...period. However...he waited for some twenty minutes while the Democrats ruled the roost. He was not in control of the committee and let things go without performing his leadership role. I am deeply disappointed in this weak sister, Chuck “I love the Democrat Party” Grassley. Support our POTUS, Trump, he has a backbone and spine and, he will lead us out of this mess caused by RINOs, Never Trumpers, etc. Shame on Senator, Grassley!!!
I agree with you and think he wants to appear as though he's not interfering in the process too much, knowing that the media is ready to pounce on him for doing so. I'd also like to think he's got something in his back pocket and if this thing gets drawn out past the new deadline, he will unleash it.
Tonight I'd like to hear him call for the release of the congresscritters names who were a part of the 17M slush fund to pay off their sexual abuse accusers.
