It would be impossible to blockade Russia.
It was hard enough to blockade Cuba.
I spent a year off the coast of Cuba on a destroyer in 1962. I couldn’t imagine the number of ships needed to blockade Russia.
The author has no concept of what a Naval Blockade requires in ships and manpower.

My mother and I stood at the Malecon in Havana and we could see the navy ships offshore. My mother was praying that the bombing would start. My half brother had taken part in the Bay of Pigs invasion the year before and was captured. We were able to leave in ‘65. Thank God!
