Who needs heritage? Name all buildings with numbers and letters only. Try OU812. O-Holes!

Or maybe Nat Turner University.

John Brown University might be a step too far, and there is already a college by that name in Arkansas.

I've been to the Lee Chapel. It's a very moving, dignified place. I was told that the sweet Virginia ladies who lead tours of the chapel got to decide if visitors could take pictures. Only the properly respectful got to do so. I was pleased to be invited to take some shots, and I didn't use flash.

Washington and Lee were great men. They both knew that if they failed, they might end their careers on the gallows. These protesting snowflakes, who can't stand the sight of a soldier's uniform, aren't fit to shine the boots of those men.

Agreed about the Lee chapel. I was there in 2017 and the tour was led by a man, who was well-informed and respectful, a great experience.

Lee's birthplace, a few miles from Washington's birthplace, is also worth visiting.

Lee was opposed to secession and opposed to slavery but believed it to be his duty to go with his state. He had been offered command of the federal forces. If he had accepted perhaps the war would have been over so fast that slavery would have continued to exist.
