we have always been a target which is why I cannot understand why there was zero security at this temple on Shabbat never heard such a thing..a few guards checking bags, something these poor people were sitting ducks attending a bris which is a joyous occasion in our community for a baby girl
a bris isn’t for girls
We were at a local temple earlier this week for a celebration of life remembrance event from a young woman who died of cancer.
There was a county mountie there that does security for them.
The poor woman who died had a lot of friends. He had never seen the lot and surrounding area so full. Even on high holy days.
That was the first of any kind of ceremony or service I ever attended in one. It was moving and the rabbi impressed me. I’ve talked to him a few times before at some open houses the place has had.
I always learn a lot every time I go.
I have nothing but good to say about Jews, save for their penchant to vote democrat.
