They believe their wealth is barrier of protection from harm and unfortunately it does show up in their business dealings.
As a Christian I accept they are indeed part of God’s Family. The Jews prior to the birth of Jesus who relied and stood upon the promise of the Messiah are God’s Children. The Jew who accept Christ as the Son Of God are God’s Children. Unfortunately, those who do not accept Jesus as the Son Of God view Christians accepting Jesus as accepting a heretic, perhaps the greatest heretic of all time.
That must be factored into any and all parts of their thinking. Those particular Jews do not love this country. They view Christians as an ever present threat. This would also include their own offspring, should they accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
It’s all about history, when one talks about the Jews and their love of country. As long as they believe Christians as a threat, and view themselves as sojourners in a foreign country, unless it’s their true home, it will be hard to count on them.
Which saddens me. The ultimate threat comes from other quarters. They are blinded to that, just as many in this country.
Those born of Jewish lineage and accept Christ are indeed valiant warriors in faith and an absolute benefit to this country.
Does not excuse treason, nor modern day democrat voting en bloc.

The book is excellent read on why so much of American Judaism is leftist. Gives a good explanation of tikkun olam and how/why it is an invention of the left with no biblical support nor validation whatsoever.
The Democrat Party has historically been the party of the common man. Many do not realize that the Democrat Party abandoned the common man long ago when they were only viewed as automatic votes who no longer needed to be wooed. Jews are all those things you say, but they also can’t see the writing on the wall until it is too late. Perhaps Jews will soon have an awakening soon. But I won’t hold my breath on that.

A rather unsettling amount of the book "Dark Sun" about the making of the hydrogen bomb has to do with the treason of American citizens passing our nuclear secrets to the Soviets. Mostly Jewish as I recall, quite a spy ring they had going.
Never saw why Rhode's book had so much about them when it was supposed to be about the hydrogen bomb effort, but maybe he had something to get off his chest after all his research.
And the Rosenburgs.
From what I have gleamed there seem to be 4 different sects of Judiasm.
1. Traditionalist Jews: Humble sects, is conservative, somewhat insular but is pretty conservative, most vote republican/conservative, especially in recent decades. They support Israel solidly as much as they support the united states.
2. Talmudic Jews: Believe in Jewish superiority over others, not that many in number compared to Traditionalist Jews, but think they are God’s Chosen people, they put the Talmud over the Torah. Vote democrat mostly, but some are what you would call globalist neo-cons.
3. Socialist Jews: Put the religion of the state socialism above Judaism, never go to temple or if they do go to temple are pretty much doing it to virtue signal to their Jewish community. They only become jewish if they are under attack for their bad socialist ideas, then they become “instant victims”. Exclusively vote democrat/socialist, Bernie Sanders is a great example.
4. Atheist Jews: Are only Jewish by blood, never go to temple, they Mostly follow the Socialist Jews. They vote exclusively Democrat. Many hate their traditionalist Parents, they share a hatred for Israel with their communist peers.
That is just my general impression from all my observations.

I think the most useful question to ask a Jewish person is to ask “Torah? or Talmud?” I view the Talmud and the several versions of it that came out over the years as a corruption of the Jewish Faith.
It is kinda like the Islamic Hadith(s) in that respect as far as I can tell.
As a gentile from NY originally, my impression is that there’s some level of resentment and antipathy toward Christians, and the GOP is seen as the “Christan party”. This sentiment seems more pronounced among secular Jews, and in urban centers, secularism is the default.
Liberals Jews vote Democrat, because they unfortunately equate the downtrodden with saintlihood. There is a resentment toward the prevailing white/WASP culture, which brings up cultural memories of persecution.
Trust me — I’m Jewish, I grew up with them. These people are nuts.
Unfortunately, many ultra-Orthodox vote Democrat because of their reliance on social programs to survive. Large families (10 children are not unusual) need welfare, food stamps, Section 8, which are amply provided.
In fact, the Democrats unwittingly helped to rebuild the postwar, post-Holocaust Jewish communities. Although the focus of 1960s welfare programs were blacks & Hispanics, ultra-Orthodox Jewish leaders, particularly the Satmar sect, sued to make the programs available to their own constituency. I am hoping they wean themselves off these government programs, as there is no longer a neutral, benevolent source of funding. My prediction? The feminists/LGBT crowd will start making demands for inclusion or recognition, just out of spite.
In fact, the LGBT & feminists will be the only ones left among the liberal Jewish denominations. Notice that all the victims of Pittsburgh were over 50? The young are leaving the Reform/Conservative denominations in droves. They are either heading toward Orthodoxy or leaving religion altogether.
Soon, very soon, the ultra-Orthodox are going to be the dominant Jewish presence. I hope by then that most will have abandoned the Democratic party, as it seems like making a pact with the devil.
The book “Bomb in the Basement” about Israel’s secret nuke acquisition program from France, showed that David ben Gurion was a Marxist heretical Trotskyite, and Israel only went with Washington in 1958. A majority of Israelis are agnostic or atheist Jews. American Jewry voted 90% Obama in 2008 and 78% Obama in 2012. Liberal deathwish.
There are plenty of liberal Jews who are SJW.
They vote for whoever promises to give them the most.
