Germans and Japanese certainly forced women in controlled regions to become “comfort women”.

I read a history of the occupation of Japan that said that at the end of the war but before the occupation really got started the Japanese authorities basically drafted young women to “service” the incoming GI’s. The hope was that this would tame the savage Americans who would then go easy on the rest of the population.

As opposed to the Red Army in German. They just raped anyone and everyone for the last couple of months of the War.

Of course, when I realized what had happened, I was heartsick. It had been a long time since I had seen my former employer; he had moved away, and I never saw him again.

My father was among the very first group of Marines into Japan at the start of the Occupation. I wish he was alive today so I could ask him about this.

I strongly suspect they ignore the fact that many if not most of these whores were forced/coerced into prostitution due to circumstances beyond their control.

Prostitution was rampant during the American Civil War as well. I recall a talk by one Civil War historian who had looked into the subject. His claim was that the average life expectancy of a prostitute was five years. I don't know the source of the claim, but the women were generally dead-enders before they turned to prostitution as a last resort. They were desperately poor, often malnourished and in ill health before getting into the business, and typically alcoholic. There would have been a high class end of the business as well, but the norm was pretty grim.

"Prostitution was rampant during the American Civil War as well."

IIRC, the term, "Hooker," came from the camp followers of MG Joseph Hooker, i.e. "Hooker's women," later shortened to, "Hooker's" or "hookers."

The service files of all Canadian World War 1 soldiers are available for viewing online and in the early part of the war a great many Americans joined the Canadian Army.

http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/military-heritage/first-world-war/personnel-records/Pages/search.aspx

These files are in PDF format and contain attestation papers (i.e. sign up forms), medical records, individual movements of the soldiers, info on their next of kin and many other interesting facts.

A great deal of these records indicate that men were treated at some point during the war for VD and or, Gonorrhea, etc. My own grandfather’s records indicate that he was treated for VD twice while overseas. He was trampled by a horse in December 2016 and an operation on his wounds didn’t heal correctly. So he was convalesced in England and returned to Halifax Canada about a week before the Halifax explosion... He survived that ordeal as well.

The Red Army did not just rape many German women, but also many women in the populations they were supposedly liberating. Milovan Djilas was bold enough to complain about the rapes and murders committed by Soviet troops in Belgrade during the fairly short period they were there (after the Germans were driven out) and that was one of the reasons Stalin wanted to get rid of Tito—he had failed to punish Djilas for that comment.

Future leftist histories will no doubt explain that the prostitutes were the real heroes of WWII.

Part of the Fall was Carnal Knowledge. It became part of the male nature to claim it’s his natural right to have a woman.

For how all the men talk about ‘women who are gold diggers,’ there is very little of them who will claim to be open ‘whore hounds,’ without admitting it was all about themselves. Very few will admit to having no thought to who they were purchasing, renting, buying...however one wants to phrase it.

Being a virgin, being a non-virgin, really didn’t matter when the bullet found you or you died from the battlefield wounds.

Still, it must have come to a bad end for so many of the men who went home only to pass the disease to their wives, girlfriends, mistresses, not to mention possible off spring. And then the lingering death that came later.

It was a bad end, all around.

If Lefties are the ones promoting the prostitutes why is it often the Righties who will procure whores when they attend conferences or meetings out of town? It’s an old (terrible) joke about how Sex-Per-View channels do a rollicking business when Christian Males have a big get conference.

I’m not saying the Lefties don’t partake. They do. It’s the shameful fact that the Righties are just as bad and are so hypocritical about it.
