Happy Anniversary!!
I joined in January of 2000. I was a stay-at-home mom with a 12-year-old, a 9-year-old, and a 1-year-old. We had dial-up internet access. Do not recall how I came across FR. I am so grateful that I did!!

A lot of 20 year anniversaries lately!
This tells me that the "class" of 1998 has a lot of longevity.

You joined about a month after me. The Bush-Gore fiasco in FL was the catalyst for me.

I joined this site in 1998.
Freerepublic is a true brotherhood of soldiers, who come from all across America, from every race, from every branch of service, and all walks of life -who love America, who in their hearts, love God, love our country, love liberty, love life, do desire to defend the innocent, and who seek to pass that faith, liberty, and life on to our children in a free USA.
It has always been a Haven of encouragement, source of real history, science, and ideas - the members of which have always opened their hearts to help those in need, petition God in prayer, and to spar with, regarding strategies to enable life and liberty. I am
All of this in an age when the enemy would enslave and end all who attempt to fight against them.
Thank you to all who have sacrificed their time and money to enable this sword of truth in the face of the religously militant evil we all battle daily!

Came on board at FR 3 Nov. 1998 ... missed my 20 year anniversary date. Started lurking in the summer of ‘98 and participated in the FR March for Justice October 31st in Washington, DC ... signed up a few days later.
