I knew WWI vets when I was a kid.

Never met a Spanish War vet. I know very little about that war—it was just history.

Time goes on and the same mistakes are made because no one remembers.

I knew a couple WWI gets. Old guy named John was a neighbor. He told me of the 40 and 8 transport train cars. 40 men or 8 horses.

My brother has an old bugle. It belonged to my grandmas second husband who was a bugler in the army. I assume wwi.

My son has a knife my uncle gave him. His grandfather carried it in the Spanish American War.

It’s neat to have such history
