Tebow was a left handed throwing Heisman winning QB too.......While Alabama is arguably the best college team in football, Tua could very well end up in the box of “could of beens” after he enters the NFL.........Hopefully not.

It should be noted that when Tua came to Alabama, his family followed him.........So who funded their housing and what alumni provided the dad with a job?......Hmmmmmm

INteresting article but it still doesn’t answer the question as to who funded the entire family’s move to Alabama or who supplied the employment........

“In the late 50’s my older brother played against Stabler at Foley HS. He passed us crazy, score 56-O.”

Supposedly Bear Bryant was once pressed to say whether Stabler or Namath was the better QB.
Bryant was said to have hesitated a second before saying that Namath was probably the better QB, but he added “I loved Kenny more”.

Totally different game than it was in 1960 - come on! LOL. The power run game was in vogue then

I agree.

I've heard that they're affiliated with ministries but I don't know what that means.

Alabama has the equivalent of Rod Rosenstein in the NCAA. No investigation will ever be done. /sarc

Thanks for your classy post. We are really blessed to have our “Sweet Hawaiian Prince” at Bama:)

Namath and Stabler were before my time, so I can’t really compare Tua to them but the experts opinions are that Tua is better. He is incredibly gifted and fun to watch. He is also an extremely classy individual who was raised in a wonderful family.

I am really nervous about Saturday’s game because I know the Dawgs are a formidable opponent. Last year’s National Championship game took years off my life.

Let’s hope for a great game with no injuries.
