I doubt very much that Meyers wife examined her injuries on a professional basis, so there would not have been any such mandatory requirement. I don’t buy it either but, if the victim wanted it to take legal action it was her responsibility to call the police and file charges instead of blabbing it to everyone she could find to listen and expect them to either keep it confidential, as she requested, or go against her will and call authorities or the school. My opinion, this is a scorned woman looking for revenge.

Mandatory reporters aren't required to do a physical examination; the mere suggestion of abuse is enough to trigger the required response.
