You’re welcome and thank you. I agree with your entire post. Yes, conservatives have been hurting for that, especially after eight years of nonstop abuse and a definite falloff starting when the (D)s won the 2006 midterms. You could see it coming a thousand miles away.

I am conservative. But I’m a Christian first and always. I will not turn anything or anyone into my idol, good or bad. If someone chooses to turn their back on that key command from the Lord, that’s to their peril. If someone wants to call me names - even from my own side - because of that, have at it. I don’t care.

I spend a good amount of time on Facebook and Twitter for various reasons (family, business purposes, general survey of what’s happening in the nonpolitical world)... and the damage that has been done to the Christian witness specifically because of creating modern idols is significant.

On a more practical level, yes, our brains should not fall out when we vote. It’s our responsibility to be clear-eyed and honest... not obsequious, as you say. Principles are NOT optional. We can have them and political/governing wins, and we must. Sure, we may trust POTUS and his love for the country. It’s the NEXT guy (or gal) we have to watch, and I don’t want to make it any easier for the next wannabe tyrant. We just ended eight years with one.

Have a great day, and thanks.

“Carlson’s daughter was also accosted in a truly disgusting way when she and her family were having dinner at a restaurant. POTUS has Secret Service. FNC anchors don’t.”

Ditto for Hannity, X 10. He hasn’t gone wobbly.

Thanks...I have to admit, I don’t watch Tucker Carlson. I don’t watch television at all except for an occasional sporting event, and so I have never watched him for more than a short YouTube clip.

I was angry when I read Tucker Carlson’s comments. Reading that makes me think he is an establishment type, and I am done with those people.

Tucker Carlson may not be “ignorant”, “stupid”, or even a liar.

But he is a line reader talking head pretty face who doesn’t have a clue what it takes to be a “capable” president. But idiots who watch him, even those who may dislike him, either accept his commentary or use his commentary for their own purposes.

He should shut up.

That doesn’t make a damn bit of sense. But I’m getting used to stupid things coming out of your mouth so all good.

It makes complete sense!

Your posting history proves you to be morally and cognitively lacking.

That is who you are here, just face it.

My posting history is open for all to see. What it shows is a strong conservative leaning and a nearly unanimous approval of president Trump. You can respond as many times you like with childish insults and logic errors, but at the end of the day I’m not going anywhere. You deal with it.

You’re in your own universe, so you can decide what ‘conservative’ is.

We can agree to disagree. the difference between you and me is that you’re advocating for me to go kill myself because you don’t agree with what I wrote. You’re no better than a piece of trash from the Democratic Underground.

Of course I can handle sarcasm. I’m saying that using the Twitter trash/DU “go kill yourself” last resort is an evil, leftist thing to say. My God.

You’re a smart person. You can figure out something else out to tell someone to stop whining.

My grip on reality is just fine. You wrote: If you can’t handle it, there is always suicide.

Don't insult our intelligence and say you meant something different.
